The Tennessee Titans' offensive line has not been performing up to par over the last few weeks.
The injuries seem to be piling up, and the depth is struggling a bit. That's to be expected to a degree after losing multiple important pieces on the unit.
In particular, left tackle Dennis Daley has caught plenty of flak for the Titans. Fans want a change, but is there a better option on the roster?
The trade deadline has passed, and free agency is sparse at offensive tackle.
Accordingly, the coaching staff is backing Daley as the starter for the Titans right now.
The only other option on the roster would probably be Le'Raven Clark. He is a veteran, but he has never played too many meaningful snaps as a starter. Clark is more of a depth option, and they probably would not want to have him play unless there was an injury.
Daley has been graded by Pro Football Focus and other analytic outlets as a bottom-tier tackle in his time with the Titans, though.
Tennessee is hoping that he can improve in this final month of the season as other players become healthier. Only time will tell if the staff is making the right choice.
That certainly won't stop the clamoring from fans if Daley's struggles continue for the Titans.
