Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel seems to have taken exception with some of the officiating during Sunday's matchup between the Titans and the Colts in Indianapolis.

During Monday's press conference, Vrabel was asked by the media about the impact of DL Jeffery Simmons, who did not post big numbers in the box score, but seemed to still be disruptive up front for the Titans' defense.

Vrabel mentioned that Simmons did a nice job of commanding enough attention to give other Titans defenders (like Denico Autry) opportunities to make plays in one-on-one matchups.

Vrabel also felt like Simmons was productive against the run and handled double teams well, despite what he insinuated were a couple uncalled penalties that prevented him from getting to the quarterback.

"He got grabbed. He got tackled a couple times from the video that I watched," Vrabel said of Simmons. "Not much you can do. He's trying to get into the middle of the pocket and trying to affect the quarterback when he was one-on-one and then…they saw it differently".

Say no more. Vrabel throwing a little shade at the refs has to be vindicating for Titans fans, who were likely yelling at their TV for a flag all afternoon.

Sitting there watching Simmons get mauled by Colts linemen with no flags can get frustrating after a while. Especially after a highlight reel run by Derrick Henry got called back for a soft holding call on Treylon Burks (which Vrabel also mentioned in the full press conference).
