Tennessee Titans (5-2) running back Derrick Henry made history in more ways than one with a dominating performance on Sunday that carried the Titans to their fifth consecutive win.

Henry gashed the Houston Texans defense for 218 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries, providing the Titans main source of offense for 60 minutes in a 17-10 win on the road.

At this point, that's just another day at the office when Henry pulls up to NRG Stadium in Houston, though. Sunday marks the fourth consecutive game that Henry has ran for 200+ yards and 2 or more touchdowns against the Texans. He may as well have ownership shares in the team at this point.

But more notable than Henry's ownership of the Texans franchise is the history he made in the process. Henry is rewriting the NFL record books with every game, and yes, I said books. Plural.

As if it wasn't already obvious, the 28-year old running back cemented his place as one of the all-time greats by breaking Titans franchise and NFL records in the same game.

Henry's two rushing touchdowns pushed him passed the great Eddie George as the Titans/Oilers all-time franchise leader in total touchdowns with 75. It also puts him just one touchdown behind Earl Campbell for the all-time lead in rushing touchdowns, which currently sits at 73.

And if all that wasn't good enough, Henry joined some pretty good company in another area, as well.

Henry's 219 yard game was the sixth 200+ yard performance of his career, which now officially ties the all-time NFL record set by Adrian Peterson and O.J. Simpson. It's even more impressive when you realize Henry (62) has started less than half as many games both Peterson (167) and Simpson (129) did in their careers.

Oh yeah, and all six of his 200 yard performances have been complimented by two or more touchdowns. Henry's ability to take over a game and put an offense on his back is perhaps better than anyone before him.

Football is lucky to have Derrick Henry, and every game that he plays from now on, it will be a joy watching him push records to new heights.

I suppose that's the craziest part of this all. The King is nowhere near finished.
