Tennessee Titans GM Ran Carthon is not ruling anything out heading into his first draft as a General Manager.

Carthon and the Titans currently have the 11th overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, but there's no guarantee Tennessee stays there. Carthon told Tennessee Titans team reporter Jim Wyatt that he was "open for business" with their first round selection.

"We're always open for business. All the guys, you've got my number, call me," Carthon joked. "It's always about just being open to try to continue to add value. We'll listen and field every call and see what comes from it."

There has been a lot of talk about the Titans potentially making a move up in the draft to select the team's next quarterback, but does Carthon's comment about "adding value" insinuate that Tennessee could be looking to move down? It's certainly a possibility.

If there isn't a prospect available at 11 that jumps out at the Titans as exceptional value, trading back to pick up a few additional draft picks would make a lot of sense. The Titans have multiple holes in their roster they will be looking to fill, and only six total draft selections to make something happen.

There is a world where the Titans can jump back to the 15-19 range, still select a first round offensive lineman or wide receiver, and pick up a couple picks on days two and three of the draft for additional depth.

Carthon is open for business, as he should be. Tennessee is in a really unique position to go any direction they please from number 11.
