The Tennessee Titans are getting a massive boost ahead of Sunday afternoon's game against the Denver Broncos at Nissan Stadium.

Despite being banged up on the defensive side of the ball, with four regular defensive starters ruled out for the game, Saturday's injury news provided some major help to the Titans in more ways than one.

After a full week of practice, wide receiver Treylon Burks and defensive back Elijah Molden were both activated to the 53-man roster, setting them up to play on Sunday vs. Denver.

For Molden (groin), it will be his 2022 season debut, while Burks (toe) will be making his first appearance in a game since Week 4 in Indianapolis.

Burks specifically, will play a major part in turning the Titans offense around. The rookie wide receiver may not have the stat line of a dominant weapon, but most of that is due to the Titans lack of passing offense. Burks' ability to create separation and catch the 50-50 ball will add a dynamic to the Titans air attack that has not been there in his absence, which may also free up Robert Woods to make some plays.

Burks is feeling good, and in great shape. His preparation while on Injured Reserve has impressed all of his coaches. He could be on the cusp of a big breakout.

If that's good news, I'll do you one better.

With the Titans choosing not to elevate Logan Woodside for the game, Ryan Tannehill is now one of just two quarterbacks on the roster. That's a pretty good indicator that he'll be starting at quarterback for Tennessee on Sunday.

Tannehill back under center, and Burks catching his passes. This is exactly what the Titans offense needs.

Yes, you'd like the defense to be healthier, but looking at the way Denver's season has unfolded to this point, the Titans defense should be able to control the damage and keep them in the game. Even without four key starters.

Going against the Broncos elite defense, though, Tannehill and Burks are sure to be key components of the Titans having a balanced offense and improving to 6-3.
