The Tennessee Titans got a major task handled today. They agreed to terms with All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on a two-year deal. It fills one of the biggest holes on the roster and gives their offense a much different look as a whole. Now, Treylon Burks will slot in as WR2, and Chig Okonkwo and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine become other depth targets. All of them will be involved.
As for head coach Mike Vrabel, he was as blunt as ever when discussing the team's latest move. He was actually aware that it would happen yesterday, but he had to keep it hush. His comments were pretty funny and spot-on from a guy like Vrabel.
Vrabel's lighthearted manner definitely shows some confidence in his team. After adding Hopkins, that will hopefully relieve some of the pressure that may have been on his team's defense. The offense should improve with the addition, as well as the healthy return of Ryan Tannehill. Vrabel sounds ready to get back on the gridiron.
