The Tennessee Titans had quite a frustrating day at the office today.

It was a bit of the "what could go wrong, did go wrong" narrative for the Titans today.

They got blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Former Titans' wide receiver A.J. Brown had an awesome game against his former team.

Rookie WR Treylon Burks suffered an injury early in the game on a touchdown grab. The timetable for his return is unknown.

Basically, the Titans had one of their worst outings of the season. Fortunately, it only counts for one loss. The Titans are still leading the AFC South by a sizable margin.

That being said, the AFC playoff race for seeding is only getting tighter. Tennessee is 7-5 after thirteen weeks of play.

The Titans sit as the fourth seed right now.

Their division probably won't be an issue.

The Jaguars and Texans continue to struggle to get wins. The Colts are quite inconsistent, and Tennessee has proven they can take care of them.

Trying to secure the top seed in the AFC is going to be an uphill battle for the Titans now, though.

The Bills and Chiefs have a two-game lead over Tennessee. The Chiefs just beat the Titans in a narrow game a few weeks ago, too. The Bills destroyed the Titans early in the season.

Therefore, getting back to the top spot will be really tough for Tennessee. Regardless, they will look to keep climbing in the standings over the next handful of weeks.

The AFC is quite deep as a conference as well, so the Titans cannot continue to trip up. They need to finish the season strong.
