After taking a hit in an October 23rd win over the division rival Colts, Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill missed two games with a sprained right ankle. Now over one month later, Tannehill is still ailed by his ankle injury, despite returning to play for his team.

In the weeks since Tannehill's return to game action, we have seen the veteran quarterback us his legs to pick up some much needed yardage and seen the best game of football Tannehill has played all season.

Last Thursday night in Green Bay, Tannehill completed 22 of 27 passes for 333 passing yards and two touchdowns. For the first time in 2022, Tennessee's passing offense really came to life and showed a glimpse of what the team could look like down the line.

And yet, Tannehill still cannot seem to escape his ankle injury. After an extended period of rest following Thursday Night Football, the Titans took the practice field on Tuesday with their starting quarterback looking…gimpy.

Wednesday was no better, either.

While Tannehill was listed on the Titans injury report as a full practice participant, he was once again hobbling through Wednesday's practice. He did bounce back and finish every drill in individual period, but he did not look all that comfortable moving around.

The Titans are at a difficult point in the season.

An AFC South title is all but locked up at this point, but with a packed AFC, every game will have massive implications on playoff seeding. That said, Tannehill returning to 100 percent is obviously of the utmost importance.

There is no concern that Tannehill will sit on Sunday. He is set to play vs the bengals. There may be some worry tough, that this ankle injury could linger deeper into the season than Tannehill or the Titans would like.
