Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers will be a big milestone for Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry. When Henry takes the field on Sunday, he will officially be playing in his 100th career NFL game.

Henry is currently sitting at 7,996 career rushing yards through his first 99 games. He is on the verge of becoming just the seventh player in NFL history to record 8,000+ rushing yards and 75+ rushing touchdowns in their first 100 career games. He would join the company Jim Brown, Eric Dickerson, Emmitt Smith, Shaun Alexander, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Adrian Peterson.

If Henry racks up some rushing yards on a poor Chargers run defense, he also has an opportunity to climb the list of all-time leaders in rushing yards through their first 100 games:

Henry even being on this list becomes even more impressive when you consider that his workload was incredibly limited through his first three seasons. From 2016-2018, Henry played in 47 games, and took just 501 carries. That's less than 11 touches per game (10.6) for the first half of his career.

Who knows where Henry would be today if he had been the starter from the jump.

As "The King" continues to rack up games played, his career accolades will only continue to grow. Henry is one of the best running backs of this generation, and he deserves to be on every list with the all-time greats.
