Former Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans tight end Luke Stocker is joining the Titans coaching staff in 2023, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Vrabel appeared on the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast with Taylor Lewan and Will Compton and mentioned Stocker has joined the staff and excelled in his new coaching role.
"You know who is doing a hell of a job for us is Luke Stocker," Vrabel said of his former player. "He has done a great job transitioning quickly from a player to coach and he is into it. He's going to be with us throughout the season. He was going to do the OTAs, the offseason and the nine week program and he crushed it and we offered him a season-long opportunity."
Stocker is not currently listed as a coach on the team website, but Paul Kuharsky has reported that he will be a quality control coach and work with the tight ends alongside Tony Dews.
Stocker spent two of his 11 NFL seasons with the Titans and appeared in 19 games between the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Stocker recorded a career high in receiving yards (165) and receiving touchdowns (two) with the Titans in 2018 and re-signed with the team in 2021 before being released after training camp.
From 2007-2010, Stocker played under three different head coaches (Fulmer, Kiffin, and Dooley) for the Vols before being drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
