The Tennessee Vols have multiple star wide receivers on their roster now.

Jalin Hyatt has been an absolute marvel this season, producing at an unreal pace. Cedric Tillman was the highly touted WR entering the season, though.

When healthy, Tillman has been great for the Vols. Unfortunately, injuries have held him out a good bit this year.

That being said, his absence today against Missouri is not due to injury, according to the Vols' radio broadcast.

Tillman is missing today's game purely as a precaution due to field conditions.

The Vols are just being precautionary with their star wideout.

That's good news for fans, honestly. It means that one of the best receivers in college football did not suffer a setback with any injury from this season.

Tennessee is playing it safe, and they know they can handle Missouri without Tillman.

That makes plenty of sense, too.

Tillman takes their offense to another level when healthy, and Tennessee wants him to be at 100% for the end of the season.

There is no reason to take a chance of injury against Missouri if the field conditions elevate that possibility.

The Vols have proven that they can score at an elite level even without Tillman all season long.
