2025 four-star wide receiver Travis Smith revealed his top eight schools on Sunday and he included the Tennessee Vols, along with Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss.

Smith, 6-foot-4/191 lbs from Atlanta, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 25 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 27 player in the state of Georgia. He's also rated as the No. 196 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

The Georgia native told On3 that he thinks Tennessee's offense is the one that he would "gel into the easiest".

Smith made a similar comment to 247Sports while praising Tennessee fans.

“The fans and the atmosphere stood out,” said Smith. “I see why it's one of the toughest places to play in the country. They sling the ball all across the field and love a deep threat like myself….They love my skillset and playmaker ability and feel I'm a perfect fit for their offensive scheme."

Smith, who was offered by the Vols last September, visited Tennessee last season for UT's games against Texas A&M and Georgia.

The talented wide receiver told 247Sports that he plans to commit in July.
