Earlier this spring, it was reported that 2024 four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley, a Tennessee Vols commit, would be taking visits to Auburn, Alabama, and Notre Dame.
Those visits caused some concern among Tennessee fans that Beasley might not be "solidly committed" to the Vols.
Beasley, 6-foot/180 lbs from Nashville, TN, is a key recruit for the Vols as he would fill a big need on Rocky Top. Beasley is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee.
Beasley's visit to Alabama is scheduled for next weekend (April 9/10) and he's supposed to be at Notre Dame this weekend.
On Friday, Beasley seemingly reaffirmed his commitment to Tennessee with a tweet that said "home" and included a video of the Vols' win over Kentucky, along with a photo of the four-star cornerback wearing a UT hat.
It's not unusual for committed players to take visits elsewhere. Often, it's just the player enjoying the process — they only get recruited out of high school once so they might as well enjoy it.
For now, it looks like there's nothing to worry about when it comes to Beasley. There's still a long way to go until he can sign in December, but it appears the Vols are in a really good spot with the Nashville native.
