2025 five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr found a cool way to rep the Tennessee Vols on Thursday night in his first high school football game after committing to UT.
Sanders, who committed to Tennessee last Saturday in a ceremony in Charlotte, played in the Keep Pounding Classic at Bank of America Stadium (home of the Carolina Panthers) on Thursday night.
The future Vol took the field for Providence Day while wearing a helmet that featured a Power T on the back.
Providence Day lost the game to Weddington, but Sanders had a solid night.
On one play, Sanders cleared the way for a touchdown run (and he was fired up afterwards).
By the way, Sanders didn't just rep the Vols on the field, he was decked out in Tennessee orange when he arrived for the game, too.
