Amick, a Clemson transfer who joined the Vols ahead of the 2024 season, uses the "The Stroke" as his walk-up song. And it sends Lindsey Nelson Stadium into a clapping frenzy every time it's played.
On Monday evening, during Georgia's Super Regional game against NC State, numerous Vols fans noticed the crowd in Athens clapping along to "The Stroke" during a pitching change.
Some fans appeared to hint that Georgia stole the song from Tennessee.
Georgia actually didn't steal anything. The Bulldogs have been playing the song (with fans and players clapping along) in Athens since the 2018 season when Adam Sasser used it as his walk-up song. The program has continued to use the song during games.
It's a catchy song that's made for stadiums. There's room for plenty of teams to use it and enjoy it.
Of course, only one of these teams will get to use it in Omaha this season. And it won't be the Bulldogs.
