Former Oklahoma Sooners head coach Bob Stoops made his predictions for Week 12 of the 2024 college football season and he doesn't think the Tennessee Vols will still be at the top of the SEC at the end of the weekend.
Stoops predicted on his YouTube channel that the Georgia Bulldogs will beat Tennessee in Athens on Saturday night.
"I think Georgia will win," said Stoops. "But, I don't know, Tennessee's been a little inconsistent, I think, offensively. So I'm going to go with Georgia."
Tennessee and Georgia have both been inconsistent offensively at times this season. Neither team has truly been at its best in SEC play.
The Vols' strong defense, however, should be able to keep them in this game, but they'll have to hit on some deep shots to quiet the crowd in Athens to have a legitimate chance to get their first win against Georgia since 2016.
Tennessee and Georgia are set to kick off at 7:30 PM ET on Saturday night in Sanford Stadium.
