2025 four-star wide receiver Travis Smith is one of the Tennessee Vols' top remaining recruiting targets.

Smith, 6-foot-4/191 lbs from Atlanta, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 13 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 13 player in the state of Georgia. He's also rated as the No. 101 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia are the Vols' biggest competition for Smith, but it could be Tennessee that holds the edge after the latest round of visits.

Smith told Rivals.com this week that his official visit to Tennessee (which was last weekend) was his best official visit.

"My best official visit, personally, was Tennessee," said Smith to Rivals.com. "Bringing us out to the river, tubing, having those comfortable visits. It was great."

"They (Tennessee) want to utilize me anywhere on the field creating space and they let me know consistently they want me and they need me," added Smith. "I felt like a priority down there," Smith added. "Everything they have been talking about on the phone since back in-season, they've consistently shown it. They really showed out for the official visit, it was crazy."

Smith is scheduled to announce his commitment on July 13.

While it appears that the Vols have a lot of momentum in this battle, Georgia, specifically, looms as a major threat.

Smith told Rivals.com that Georgia is a "special place forever".

This battle likely won't end when Smith commits on July 13 as programs will continue to recruit the talented wide receiver.
