The first weekend of the season went as well as it could've for the Tennessee Vols.

Tennessee earned a huge 69-3 win against the Chattanooga Mocs on Saturday afternoon. A few hours later, the Florida Gators sauntered off the field after getting blown out at home by the Miami Hurricanes.

For Vols fans, it doesn't get much better than a Tennessee win and a Florida loss.

Former Tennessee defensive lineman Kahlil McKenzie seemingly agrees with that statement, tweeting on Saturday night "Vols win by 60 Gators lose by almost 40, absolutely beautiful day to be alive".

The vibes are great on Rocky Top these days. Tennessee athletics are thriving in a way that we've never seen before. And the football program looks poised to have another memorable season.

Throw in Florida's obvious issues (it looks like it's going to be a long season for the Gators) and it's certainly a great time to be a Tennessee fan.
