A former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman has found a new home in college football more than a month after entering the NCAA transfer portal.

Vols redshirt freshman offensive lineman Vysen Lang entered the NCAA transfer portal in early December after spending the first two seasons of his career at Tennessee.

Lang will be spending the 2025 season at Troy.

Troy announced the addition of Lang on Monday afternoon.

Lang, a former three-star recruit from Alabama, was expected to compete for the starting center job at Tennessee in 2025.

"We got great competition," said Vols offensive line coach Glen Elarbee when asked about the depth at the center position back in August. "Vysen (Lang), Sat (William Satterwhite), probably are taking the most of those reps and competing. Sat has come along at a high rate. Vysen has improved in ton of areas."

Lang has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
