Former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Parker Ball landed a new college football coaching job this week.

Ball, who spent the 2024 season as a graduate assistant at Tennessee, has been hired by USF as an assistant offensive line coach.

Former Vols offensive coordinator Alex Golesh is entering his third season as the head coach at USF.

Ball, who is from Douglasville, GA, spent five seasons at Tennessee.

Two of those seasons (2021 and 2022) overlapped with Golesh's time in Knoxville.

The former Vol should have an opportunity to quickly climb the coaching ranks. Ball could be a name for Tennessee fans to keep an eye on in the future if the Vols find themselves in need of a new offensive line coach.
