Former Tennessee Vols running back Jaylen Wright, a fourth-round selection by the Miami Dolphins in the 2024 NFL Draft, is the type of player that thrives on bulletin board material.

Shortly after getting selected in the fourth round of the draft by the Dolphins in April, Wright sent a message to the teams that passed on him.

"I've got a lot of fire built up in me," said Wright. "Just from this whole process. I'm just ready to get out there and prove my point — make these people that passed on me, make them feel me. I'm just ready to bring that aggression to the field and make a lot of plays. Make a lot of big plays."

On Friday, Wright received some additional bulletin board material for his rookie season.

CBS Sports ranked the top five rookie running backs ahead of the 2024 NFL season and Wright wasn't included. In fact, he wasn't even listed as an "honorable mention" (that honor went to Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Brooks).

Here's their top five rookie running backs ahead of the 2024 season:

5. Marshawn Lloyd — Green Bay Packers
4. Tyrone Tracy — New York Giants
3. Bucky Irving — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2. Kimani Vidal — Los Angeles Chargers
1. Trey Benson — Arizona Cardinals

The good news for Wright is that a subjective list like this one will have no impact on how he actually performs in 2024. The former Vol should have plenty of opportunities in Miami to prove that he's the best rookie running back in the NFL.
