A pair of former Tennessee Vols teammates linked up in Charlotte last Sunday for a jersey swap after the Kansas City Chiefs' narrow win against the Carolina Panthers.
Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith and Panthers offensive lineman Cade Mays met up on the field to exchange jerseys just after Kansas City kicked a field goal to earn a three-point win.
Smith and Mays, both Tennessee natives, were teammates on Rocky Top for one season (2020). Smith played at Tennessee from 2017 to 2020 while Mays played for the Vols in 2020 and 2021 after spending the first two years of his career at Georgia.
