Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman, a third round selection by the Cleveland Browns, is entering his third season in the NFL.
Tillman, who played at Tennessee from 2018 to 2022, has had moderate success through his first two seasons in Cleveland.
The former Vol caught 29 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games last season. Tillman's best game came in a win against the Baltimore Ravens when he caught seven passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns.
The Browns are hoping that Tillman has a breakout season in 2025, and it sounds like the Las Vegas native will have a prime opportunity to make that happen.
The Athletic's Zac Jackson noted this week that Tillman, when healthy, is a "locked-in starter" for the Browns.
Tillman missed the final six games of the 2024 season after suffering a concussion against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12.
The Browns' quarterback situation is unsettled, which could make things tricky for Tillman and the rest of Cleveland's wide receivers. But as long as the former Vol stays healthy, he'll have a chance to make a big impact for the Browns this fall.
