After the Georgia Bulldogs beat the Tennessee Vols in Athens two years ago, UGA quarterback Stetson Bennett revealed that fans leaked his phone number the week before the game.
History almost repeated itself this year with current Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, but one big mistake was made by the fans who tried to leak Beck's phone number.
Beck told reporters after Georgia's 31-17 win against the Vols on Saturday night that fans mistakenly leaked his phone number from high school, which obviously isn't his phone number anymore.
"Someone came up to me and was like 'yo, your phone number got leaked', and I was like 'what are you talking about, I haven't got any texts or whatever'," said Beck. "But nah, it was my old number from like high school. He showed me and he was like 'this is your number' and I was like 'nah, I'm two steps ahead'."
There was a screen shot of what was allegedly Beck's phone number floating around on social media last week. That turned out to be his old number, which means someone was most likely receiving some confusing (and likely combative) texts last week that were meant for Beck.
