I'm pretty sure the questions about former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt's route-running abilities and whether or not his game will translate to the NFL can stop after the play he made on Thursday during New York Giants training camp.

Hyatt caught a long pass from Giants quarterback Daniel Jones during practice. That's not a surprise for the speedy wide receiver — it's something that Tennessee fans saw a multitude of times in 2022.

But unlike many of those receptions at Tennessee, where Hyatt was wide open because he had burned the defender, there was good coverage on this throw.

Hyatt, however, split the defenders and reeled in the perfectly thrown pass from Jones.

You can't do it much better than that.

I know it's just practice, but those are the types of plays that Hyatt has to make during practice if he's going to earn trust from the coaching staff.

And I think it's safe to say that he's earned some trust over the last week thanks to his strong play on the field and his intense work ethic off the field.
