The Kentucky Wildcats can mark another name off their list of candidates to replace John Calipari as the program's head basketball coach.
CBS Sports' Matt Norlander reported on Thursday morning that Baylor head coach Scott Drew has passed on Kentucky's offer to replace Calipari.
Drew joins Alabama's Nate Oats, UConn's Dan Hurley, and former Villanova head coach Jay Wright as potential candidates that have removed themselves from consideration for the job.
Auburn's Bruce Pearl, Arizona's Tommy Lloyd, and Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan (the former head coach at Florida) linger as potential options to replace Calipari, who left Kentucky this week to take over as the head coach at Arkansas.
Donovan said earlier this week that he hasn't been contacted by Kentucky while doing little to deny that he could eventually be an option for the Wildcats.
