2026 five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, a Tennessee Vols commit, made a huge jump in Rivals.com's recruiting rankings this week.

Brandon, 6-foot-4/197 lbs from Greensboro, NC, was already rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 overall player in the nation. But other recruiting recruiting services, such as Rivals.com, had the North Carolina native rated significantly lower.

Rivals.com, however, gave the Tennessee commit a ratings boost this week. Brandon was previously rated as the No. 134 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class. He's now rated as the No. 6 overall player in the 2026 class by Rivals.com, which means he was elevated 128 spots in their latest recruiting rankings update.

Brandon is currently rated by On3 as the No. 11 overall player in the nation.

If the Tennessee commit continues to perform at a high level, he has a legitimate chance to be the consensus No. 1 overall player in the 2026 class.

Don't look now but it looks like the Vols are quickly turning into a recruiting juggernaut under Josh Heupel and his staff.
