The Tennessee Vols could soon be making a huge addition to their 2026 recruiting class.

On3's Steve Wiltfong predicted on Monday that Tennessee will land a commitment from 2026 four-star wide receiver/athlete Joel Wyatt.

"I logged an On3 RPM for Tennessee to land in-state two-way prospect Joel Wyatt," wrote Wiltfong. "We rank Wyatt as the nation’s No. 3 receiver at On3 but he could play several positions on the defensive side as well. A source says his heart is in Knoxville."

Wyatt, 6-foot-4/192 lbs from Bell Buckle, TN (The Webb School), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 7 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Tennessee. He's also rated as the No. 64 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The talented athlete, who can also play on the defensive side of the ball, visited Tennessee this past weekend for the Volunteers' junior day.

Wyatt also took unofficial visits to Tennessee during the 2024 season for the Vols' wins against Florida, Alabama, and Kentucky.

In December, Wyatt dropped a list of his top 10 schools that included Tennessee, along with Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Miami.

Wyatt is one of the best athletes in the 2026 recruiting class, so it's not a surprise that most of the nation's top programs are hoping to land him. But it looks like the Vols have done a good job of making sure that Wyatt doesn't leave the state.

The coveted recruit told 247Sports that he will likely commit sometime this summer.

Tennessee currently has eight players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 5 in the nation.
