The Tennessee Vols are essentially a lock to make the NCAA Tournament.

UT is currently 20-7. Even if they lost out — three remaining regular-season games plus the SEC Tournament — they'd still make the tournament.

For now, the Vols are viewed by ESPN's Joe Lunardi, AKA the Bracketology King, as a No. 3 seed in the tourney.

Lunardi is currently projecting Tennessee as a No. 3 seed in the South Region with a first-round matchup against Northern Iowa. A matchup between the winner of No. 6 seed Iowa and No. 11 seed North Carolina would await the Vols in the second round (Tennessee beat UNC 89-72 earlier this season).

If the Vols were to advance to the Sweet 16, they'd likely have to play the No. 2 seed Baylor Bears.

The Arizona Wildcats, who lost to Tennessee 77-73 in December, are the No. 1 seed in the South Region in Lunardi's latest bracket.

Tennessee will look to bolster their NCAA Tournament resumé on Saturday afternoon when they take on the Auburn Tigers in Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Vols also have regular-season games left at the Georgia Bulldogs and at home against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
