The Detroit Lions are apparently big fans of former Tennessee Vols standouts.
Last week, Detroit signed former Vols defensive backs Cam Sutton and Emmanuel Moseley to free-agent deals.
Sutton signed a three-year deal while Moseley, who is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last season, signed a one-year deal.
On Wednesday night, the Lions added another former Tennessee defender to their roster.
According to his agent, former Vols linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin is signing with Detroit.
Reeves-Maybin spent the first five seasons of his career with the Lions after Detroit selected him with the No. 124 overall selection (fourth round) of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The former Vol spent the 2022 season with the Houston Texans.
Reeves-Maybin had the best year of his career with the Lions in 2021, totaling 82 tackles, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.
Things didn't go as smoothly for Reeves-Maybin in Houston last season as he totaled just 15 tackles despite playing in all 17 games.
Reeves-Maybin, Sutton, and Moseley were all three on the field together from 2014 to 2016 at Tennessee.
