104.5 The Zone radio show host/former Tennessee Vols basketball player Ron Slay told one of the most insane stories this week that you'll ever hear.

I'm not exaggerating. In fact, I might be underselling it a bit.

Slay told a story on 104.5 The Zone's 3HL this week about his truck getting stolen right in front of him as he was checking out at a convenience store.

The story involves a chase, multiple wrecks (including his truck flipping), a stolen pistol, and the culprit completely disappearing at the end.

It's a must-listen that will have you in tears by the end. I promise.

While telling that story, Slay teased a story about an AAU basketball experience in Memphis that also involved the police.

And after hearing the stolen car story, I think we can all agree that we've gotta hear the Memphis story.

By the way, there aren't many storytellers on the planet better than Ron Slay.
