The Tennessee Vols could be on the verge of adding an impressive four-star linebacker to their 2026 recruiting class.

On3's Steve Wiltfong made a prediction on Wednesday for the Vols to land 2026 four-star linebacker Bradyen Rouse.

Rouse, 6-foot-3/205 lbs from Marietta, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 4 linebacker in the nation and the No. 7 player in the state of Georgia. He's also rated as the No. 67 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The four-star linebacker recently visited Knoxville for Tennessee's junior day.

Rouse, who also plays basketball, is an extremely athletic recruit who has also played wide receiver and tight end in high school. His future in college, however, is at linebacker.

At this point, it's unclear when Rouse plans to commit. He noted to On3 that he plans to take official visits in the summer, which means the Vols could have to wait for an official decision from the coveted linebacker.

The Tennessee Vols are recruiting well in the state of Georgia

Overall, Tennessee is doing a solid job when it comes to recruiting the state of Georgia under Josh Heupel.

The Vols signed seven players from Georgia during the 2025 recruiting cycle, including four-star wide receiver Travis Smith. In 2024, the Vols signed five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews and four-star quarterback Jake Merklinger out of Georgia (the Vols also have a commitment from 2026 four-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson, who is from Kennesaw, GA).

Winning big games in college football mostly comes down to which team has the most talent. Tennessee is showing that they aren't afraid to go into the state of Georgia and battle some big-time programs for elite talent. The Vols aren't going to win all of those battles, of course, but they're starting to win their fair share of them, which is massive for the future of Tennessee football.
