The Tennessee Vols' 2023-24 basketball season didn't end like fans hoped it would.
Instead of cutting down the nets and hoisting a trophy after the final game of the NCAA Tournament, the Vols' season ended with a tough loss to the Purdue Boilermakers in the Elite Eight.
Despite the somber ending to their tourney run, the Vols had an incredible season. Tennessee won the SEC regular season championship and they reached their first Elite Eight since 2010.
Vols fans also got to enjoy watching Dalton Knecht, a Northern Colorado transfer who spent one season with the program, dominate the SEC. Knecht averaged 21.7 points per game on his way to winning SEC player of the year honors.
The season may not have ended with a championship, but it was still quite a ride for Vols fans.
Earlier this week, Tennessee's social media team put out an eight minute video that tells the story of the Vols' memorable 2023-24 season and it's a must watch for UT fans.
What a season. That's one that Tennessee fans won't forget for a very long time.
