The biggest news story in the world right now is undoubtedly Russia's invasion of Ukraine this week.
Many of us have followed along on social media as Ukraine residents have posted updates online via tweets/videos. Some of the images/stories have been horrific.
One of the folks tweeting updates from Ukraine has been a Tennessee Titans fan.
Twitter user @eddie_oreily has been regularly updating his journey to safety. Here are some of his tweets from the last 24 hours.
Those tweets are incredibly jarring — especially the one where you can hear explosions in the background. You can see more of his journey here.
Side note: There appears to be a group of Titans fans petitioning the franchise/Titans players to get this man and his family to a game next season. That would certainly be a tremendous gesture to a man who is repping the Titans as he literally escapes a warzone.
