One of the Tennessee Vols' top 2025 recruiting targets has decided to move up his commitment date.
2025 four-star offensive lineman Dontrell Glover tweeted on Thursday morning that he now plans to announce his commitment on June 24. He'll be choosing between Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Glover, 6-foot-2/315 lbs from Fairburn, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 16 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 34 player in the state of Georgia.
It seems unlikely that Tennessee will win this recruiting battle. Glover took an official visit to UT this past weekend and despite that visit, Georgia is the program that's trending for the talented offensive lineman (according to 247Sports).
If an official visit to Tennessee wasn't enough to give the Vols some momentum in this recruiting battle, then it's probably safe to say that they won't be landing Glover on June 24.
The good news for the Vols, though, is that they landed a commitment from four-star in-state offensive lineman Nic Moore earlier on Thursday.
