The Tennessee Vols had a surprise celebrity supporter in Omaha for game two of the College World Series against Texas A&M.

East Tennessee native and country music superstar Morgan Wallen was in Omaha on Sunday for the Vols' matchup against the Aggies, but it wasn't much of a surprise to see the longtime UT fan in attendance.

Country music superstar and North Carolina native Eric Church, however, was a bit surprising to see in Omaha.

Church is a diehard North Carolina Tar Heels fan. But he grew up halfway between Knoxville and Chapel Hill, so maybe he has a soft spot for the Volunteers.

Tennessee actually beat Church's Tar Heels last week in the Vols' second game of the College World Series.

Perhaps Church lost a bet and that's why he's in Omaha supporting the Vols. Or maybe he just wanted an excuse to enjoy some college baseball in a great atmosphere.

Either way, it was certainly a surprise to see Church in Omaha supporting Tennessee.
