Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Cade Mays still hasn't decided if he's returning to UT for his final season of eligibility.

Or at least if he's made his decision, he hasn't made it public yet.

Mays is set to play in the NFLAPA Collegiate Bowl on January 29, which seems to indicate that he's leaning toward going to the NFL.

But there's still a chance that Mays returns to the Vols.

The Tennessee native is with the Vols in Nashville as UT prepares for their bowl game matchup against Purdue in the Music City Bowl.

Mays hasn't been able to practice due to injury. Vols head coach Josh Heupel, however, said on Sunday that Mays is planning to play in the bowl game.

This is certainly a positive sign for Mays' possible return to Tennessee. These days, we're seeing a lot of NFL-bound players opt out of bowl games. The fact that Mays is planning to play in the Music City Bowl doesn't mean he's returning, but it means it's still at least a possibility.

Earlier this month, Mays said a NIL (name, image, and likeness) deal worth third to fourth round NFL money (around $750,000) would help make his decision to come back to Tennessee a bit easier.
