The Tennessee Vols won't play their first game in the 2024 College World Series until Friday night, but UT fans have already made their presence felt in Omaha.

The Rocco's 2024 jello shot challenge got underway on Thursday morning and not only did Tennessee fans jump out to an early lead, but they also helped set a day one record.

1,621 jello shots were purchased on day one. And Tennessee fans were responsible for 348 of those jello shots. The next closest fan base was North Carolina with 284.

That's an impressive start for the Vols, but Tennessee fans have a long way to go if they're going to break the record that LSU fans set in 2023 (an insane 68,888 shots).

Fortunately for Tennessee and the rest of the fan bases in Omaha, LSU didn't reach Omaha this year, giving the rest of the field a legit chance.
