The Tennessee Vols received some more good news this week, as 2023 three-star offensive lineman Trevor Duncan committed to UT on Friday.

Duncan, 6-foot-5/277 lbs from Knoxville, TN (Knoxville Catholic), is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 30 athlete in the nation and the No. 12 player in the state of Tennessee.

Duncan committed to Tennessee over offers from Kentucky, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.

These are the types of players that the Vols have to sign. Duncan may not be a four-star or five-star recruit, but he appears to be a solid player who could end up playing a big role for the Volunteers in the future. UT can't let local players like Duncan get away. The Vols did a nice job of locking him down and keeping him in-state.

Tennessee now has seven players committed to its 2023 recruiting class, which is ranked inside the top 10 of 247Sports' class rankings.
