Lane Kiffin has spent more as the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels than he spent as the Tennessee Vols' head coach.
But that doesn't mean he's completely let go of Tennessee.
Kiffin experienced possibly the best atmosphere in college football this past weekend when his Rebels visited Neyland Stadium.
Ole Miss won the game, but the crowd — one that Kiffin is familiar with — left a major impact on the controversial head coach.
In fact, Kiffin is imploring Ole Miss fans to be more like Tennessee (and Alabama) fans.
Kiffin said this week that he hasn't felt an environment at Ole Miss like he has at Alabama and Tennessee.
If you're an Ole Miss fan, this has to be a tough comment to hear.
No one wants to be compared to an ex. And that's exactly what Kiffin is doing.
I have a feeling that Kiffin won't be in Oxford long anyway. He's always looking for the next big job. Maybe that'll be down the road in Baton Rouge now that LSU needs a new head coach.
