The Tennessee Vols made a big addition to their 2025 recruiting class on Wednesday.

2025 four-star edge rusher Jayden Loftin committed to Tennessee according to multiple reports on Wednesday.

Loftin, 6-foot-4/240 lbs from Somerville, NJ, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 23 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 9 player in the state of New Jersey.

Loftin actually committed to the Vols during his official visit to Tennessee this past weekend.

“On Saturday, during the photo shoot, there was a DJ playing music. I had him announce my commitment over the loud speaker and that is how everyone found out," said Loftin to On3. "It was pretty exciting.”

Vols head coach Josh Heupel sent out a "GBO" tweet on Wednesday morning acknowledging Loftin's commitment.

Tennessee now has 11 players committed to its 2025 recruiting class.
