Tennessee Vols tight end McCallan Castles, one of the more underrated prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft, is set for a pre-draft visit with a franchise from his home state.
Castles, who spent the 2023 season at Tennessee after transferring from UC-Davis, will visit the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Castles, who is expected to be a late round selection or a priority undrafted free agent, had a terrific pro day at Tennessee late last month.
The California native had a long jump of 10 feet 6 inches, which would've been tied for first among all tight ends at the NFL scouting combine. Castles' 37.5 inch vertical leap would've been the third best among tight ends at the combine.
Castles caught 22 passes for 283 yards and five touchdowns during his one season with the Vols.
