Tennessee Vols transfer guard Freddie Dilione V officially has a new home in college basketball.
Dilione, who entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month, committed to Penn State on Wednesday according to On3's Joe Tipton.
Dilione is a former four-star recruit from Raleigh who was rated as the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina during the 2022 recruiting cycle.
The former Vol enrolled midseason at Tennessee in 2022-23 and took a redshirt year.
Dilione played in 18 games for Tennessee this past season, averaging 5.2 minutes per game and 1.7 points per game. He scored just two points (against Saint Peters) in post-season play for the Vols in 2023-24.
