Tennessee Vols true freshman defensive back Boo Carter went viral on Saturday after UT's season-opening win against Chattanooga.

Carter, who is from Chattanooga, was dancing in front of his locker during an Instagram live video when the team was called to another part of the locker room.

The true freshman safety didn't notice at first that he had been called to the other side of the locker room. In the background of the video, you can see Vols head coach Josh Heupel approach Carter and shout "Boo!" before the live video ends.

Busted! (Though it was all in good fun.)

Carter, who has tremendous upside thanks to his athletic skills and elite competitiveness, played well in his first game for the Volunteers. The former four-star recruit made two tackles and was responsible for two quarterback hits in Tennessee's 69-3 win against the Mocs.

After the game, he was obviously hyped about playing in his first collegiate game (and contributing to the win).

Next time, Carter might want to be a little more cautious about going live in the locker room after a game — he's gotta make sure the head coach isn't right behind him in the future.
