It’s should be no surprise that things got a bit chippy on Saturday night between the Tennessee Vols and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Arkansas running back Mike Washington, after all, stirred the pot last week when he said that Tennessee’s defense has “holes”.
According to Voice of the Vols Mike Keith, Tennessee’s defenders were “aware” of Washington’s comment before the game.
(Washington, to be fair, backed up his trash talk by rushing for 131 yards and a touchdown in the 34-31 loss to Tennessee.)

As both teams lingered on the field after the game, a bit of a scuffle broke out between Tennessee and Arkansas.
The action was captured by the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Emotions are always high after close SEC games. There was clearly some back and forth between Tennessee and Arkansas after the game, but cooler heads eventually prevailed.
Tennessee will now prepare for a huge road showdown next Saturday with the Alabama Crimson Tide. I’m sure emotions will be high in that one, too.
