One of the Tennessee Vols' top 2026 recruiting targets, who happens to be from North Carolina, appeared to enjoy UT's blowout win against NC State in Charlotte on Saturday night.

2026 five-star tight end Kendre Harrison is one of the most coveted recruits in the nation. Late Saturday night, Harrison tweeted a photo of himself pointing at the final score of Tennessee's 51-10 win against NC State with the caption "Well😂".

Harrison, 6-foot-7/243 lbs from Reidsville, NC, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 1 tight end in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina. He's also rated as the No. 9 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The highly-touted recruit recently transferred to Providence Day in Charlotte where he plays alongside 2025 five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr, a Tennessee commit.

Tennessee has been recruiting extremely well in North Carolina in recent years (Sanders, James Pearce, 2026 5-star Vols commit Faizon Brandon, etc). Beating one of the top teams in the state of North Carolina in Charlotte will only help strengthen the Vols' recruiting efforts in the Tar Heel state.
