2026 five-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho included the Tennessee Vols among his top 11 schools on Wednesday.

Auburn, Oregon, Georgia, Penn State, Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Maryland, Florida, and Miami were also included in Iheanacho's top 11.

Iheanacho, 6-foot-6/345 lbs from Rockville, MD, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 2 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 5 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

While the Volunteers are certainly happy to be "in the mix" for one of the top recruits in the nation, this is a recruiting battle that Tennessee probably isn't going to win.

Iheanacho told 247Sports this week that he's currently planning to take five official visits: Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Penn State, and Oregon.

According to On3, LSU, Miami and Texas A&M are battling for Iheanacho's sixth official visit.

"I see myself committing in the summer," said Iheanacho to 247Sports in regards to his commitment plans. "I'm going to take official visits, some fall OVs, then enroll early."

Unless Iheanacho changes his plans and decides to take an official visit to Tennessee this spring/summer, it seems incredibly unlikely that the Vols will be the pick.

For now, Oregon is viewed as the favorite to land the elite offensive lineman.
