Vols among top schools for 2027 recruit who has former teammates already at Tennessee
The Tennessee Vols are working hard on their 2027 recruiting class.
The Tennessee Vols are among the top schools for a 2027 three-star recruit that already has a couple of former teammates in Knoxville.
2027 three-star linebacker Ethan Hauser told On3 this week that Tennessee is one of his top schools, along with Florida, Georgia Tech, and Kansas.
“They make my family and I always feel welcome,” said Hauser to On3 of his interest in the Vols. “I also have some old teammates on that team who are constantly giving me feedback about Tennessee.”
Hauser, 6-foot-2/185 pounds from Buford, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 40 linebacker in the nation and the No. 54 player in the state of Georgia.
Who are Ethan Hauser’s former teammates that play for Tennessee?
Two of Hauser’s former teammates at Buford High School were true freshmen for the Volunteers in 2025.
Running back Justin Baker and linebacker Jadon Perlotte both played with Hauser at Buford.
Baker played in all 13 games for the Vols in 2025, rushing for 43 yards on 14 carries.
Perlotte also played in all 13 games for the Vols, totaling 19 tackles, two tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, and a half sack.
Hauser doesn’t have a planned commitment date at this time.
