Tennessee Vols running back Dylan Sampson was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round (No. 126 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Sampson, who set the Tennessee single-season record for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in 2024, will join former Vols teammate Cedric Tillman in Cleveland (Tillman and Sampson played together at UT in 2022).
Speaking of former Vols, one of Sampson's former UT teammates was in attendance at Sampson's draft part on Saturday.
Former Vols wide receiver Squirrel White, who played with Sampson for three seasons at Tennessee (2022 to 2024) before entering the NCAA transfer portal earlier this offseason, was seen in the background of a video taken by UT's social media team at Sampson's draft party.
White posted a clip on his Instagram story of his view of Sampson getting drafted by the Browns on Saturday.

White, who signed with Tennessee as a three-star recruit during the 2022 recruiting cycle, transferred to Florida State in January.
Former Vols linebacker Elijah Herring (who spent the 2024 season at Memphis) and former UT defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins also transferred to Florida State this offseason.
White caught 131 passes for 1,665 yards and six touchdowns during his three seasons at Tennessee. The Alabama native was banged up for much of the 2024 season, but he still managed to play in all 13 games for the Volunteers.
