It's rarely shocking to see a 5-star recruit do something that most of us mortals can't achieve, but Kendre Harrison managed the feat. The top-rated tight end 2026 prospect and target for the Tennessee Volunteers and North Carolina Tar Heels proved to be one of the freakiest athletes in the nation with one move on the basketball court. 

2026 TE Recruit Kendre Harrison Shatters Backboard

No one is surprised the 6-foot-6, 250-pounder, who is the sixth overall prospect on the On3 industry board for the 2026 class, can dunk the ball. But he affirmed all scouting reports that noted his incredibly explosiveness for his size and age recently. Check out his viscous dunk below.

Tennessee and North Carolina in Battle for Kendre Harrison

The recruitment of Harrison is in an interesting spot. While North Carolina is projected to land the local product, the state has recently walked back legislation that allowed high school athletes to cash in on its NIL deals. While that's not an issue at the collegiate level, could it sway Harrison in any form?

Harrison is a big priority for Tennessee, and our Zach Ragan wondered if it'd help for Chris Barnes to recruit him as a two-sport star. He told On3 he's received interest as a basketball player as well as a football star. It's harder to see North Carolina getting involved there, but maybe that's the wild card that sways Harrison.
